Our Christmas Favorites (and a Giveaway!)

Deck the halls . . .

Jingle bells . . .

Oh come, all ye faithful . . .

As the stores and our calendars are telling us, Christmas is right around the corner. We know you have a lot yet to do — cookies to bake, cards to write (and mail!), gifts to wrap, carols to sing, friends to see — so it’s a good thing there are still a couple of days to find meaningful and beautiful gifts for the special people in your lives!

Our favorite place to find such gifts is hands down DaySpring. This is the last weekend to order from with regular shipping and receive your order before Christmas — and they’re offering FREE shipping right now until 12/17!

As a Merry Christmas from our hearts to yours, we thought it’d be festive fun to share with you our staff’s favorite DaySpring products . . . and then give one of each away!

We love and appreciate you, and it’s so fun to celebrate this community — especially at Christmas. Read on for our team’s favorite things! Little-drummer-boy-style drum roll, please:

Grace loves the Steadfast Gold Pendant Necklace

Grace says: I’m always on the lookout for long necklaces when I want to spruce up my normally casual attire, and this one is the perfect length with just the right amount of texture. Its message of steadfastness is one I need during the holidays, when my heart often feels heavy as I remember those who are lonely and as I long for the day when all things will be made right. In the waiting, I’m reminded that Christ is my anchor, that He is the one who keeps me steady, and this is the message I want to live and tell, especially during Advent.

Becky loves the Be Kind – Black Heather T-shirt

Becky says: I love so many of the new t-shirts at DaySpring, but this one is probably my favorite. Besides being simple, cute, and comfy, there is something powerful about wearing the words [be kind] across your chest. It’s a reminder to live the kind of life I profess: to smile first, offer a kind word, hold the door open, not get impatient in the slow line at check out. I want kindness to be the first thing I put on at Christmas — and all year long.

Joy loves the Shepherd on the Search Advent Activity Set

Joy says: This is the second year we’ve had the Shepherd on the Search visit our home. Shepherd Bob (named by the kids, of course) is just a delight for our kids! Some days, he is pretty creative about what he’s up to, and other days he just sits quietly somewhere in the house. One thing is for sure: every day he reminds us to point our conversations, actions, and hearts towards Jesus. Jesus is the true gift of Christmas and the Shepherd on the Search is a very creative and memorable way to share this truth with your children. My little girls are eight and ten, and they just LOVE him!

Anna loves the Dough, A Deer Flare Bib Apron

Anna says: This apron is just plain adorable. I’ve loved wearing it this month to make dinner and bake goodies. It has enough coverage to actually keep flour and food spatters from landing all over my shirt, and it even looks cute just hanging up on the wall in my kitchen! Along with a cookie mix or pre-made freezer meal, this apron would make a beautiful Christmas gift for a friend.

You are our favorite people, and these are our favorite things, and we want to give them to you! To be entered to win, just leave a comment telling us what makes your heart warm with gratitude this Christmas. There are four gifts, so four people will win!

There’s still time to order these items (and many more) from DaySpring and have them arrive by Christmas — and remember, FREE shipping on all orders until 12/17! We’re sure you can find something at DaySpring for each person on your list!
